About Us

Who We Are

• Jesus Christ is eternal Son of God who also became fully human, to save his people and become a faithful and merciful eternal high priest for us. He is the resurrected and reigning King for whom we exist to worship, obey, glorify, and proclaim. He is actively building His church by transferring one soul at a time from the domain of darkness into His Kingdom, by the power of His Spirit, through faith in Him. He is therefore the Head of the church, and everything we do is placed in submission to Him. He is the focal point of Scripture, He is the focal point of our preaching and teaching, and He is the focal point of our worship.

• We are an elder-led, congregational Baptist Church, and we affirm the Baptist Faith and Message 2000.

• South Point Church was formed in 2020 as the result of a merger between two local Baptist Churches.

• South Point Mission: Encouraging and equipping one another to grow, serve, and go for the glory of God.

• Long Term Vision: To see members of South Point leveraging their lives for Christ, as they are sent out to proclaim the glory of God and the transforming power of the gospel, in every place they are called to go.

• Affiliations:  Some of the entities we either support or align ourselves with are 9Marks, RTIM, Cru, Re:Center Ministries, and Practical Shepherding.

Worship Service
Sunday Mornings at 10:30am
First Sunday Evening each month at 6:30pm

In our worship services, we desire to worship the Triune God through the preaching and application of His Word, prayer, Scripture reading, song, and enjoying the unity of Christian fellowship.  Since Christ is our Great High Priest and Mediator, and since He is the focal point of Scripture and all of history, our time together is Christ-centered. We preach Christ, we proclaim Christ, we worship Christ, we pray to Christ, we trust in Christ and therefore we submit to Christ. While everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend, the service is directed to God, and serves to encourage and equip and the saints.
